KM Genealogy was set up in early 2007 by Karen Murphy. Karen writes "Following several years of personal family tree research, the business evolved and as recommendations spread, the demand grew. What started out as a hobby quickly grew into something more full time.
What sets us apart from other research companies is our personal service and our love of social history which is demonstrated in our packages. We do our utmost to make our reports three dimensional so that you can really imagine the lives your ancestors lived.
Regarding prices, there are a number of reasons why I'm confident that we're one of the cheapest research companies out there (if not THE cheapest). Firstly, we love researching social history - we don't want to charge people exhorbitant rates for doing something we enjoy. Secondly, we try and keep the majority of reports online - this way, you can print off as many copies as you like. We put everything on CD-ROM to keep the costs as low as possible.
